Bukayo Saka, an Arsenal standout, wins the first-ever Premier League Player of the Month honor.

Bukayo Saka has been selected the Premier League’s Player of the Month for the month of March.
Saka, who was in fine form for Mikel Arteta’s club, scored three goals and provided two assists during Arsenal’s 4-0 league victory in March.

Saka made four appearances during the month, helping Arsenal defeat Everton, Bournemouth, Fulham, and Crystal Palace with three goals and two assists.

Only Manchester City’s Erling Haaland (33) and Tottenham’s Harry Kane (23) have been involved in more Premier League goals than Saka this season (22).

The 21-year-old, who is a contender for player of the season, is the only player in the competition to have double digits in goals (12) and assists (10) this season.

Alexander Isak, Alexis Mac Allister, Tyrone Mings, Mohamed Salah, and Leandro Trossard, an Arsenal teammate, were all in Saka’s way of winning the Premier League trophy.

He becomes the second Arsenal player to win the monthly award this season, following Martin Odegaard’s selection as the league’s top player in each of the two months leading up to the World Cup break.
