Ayra Starr, a Nigerian musician, disclosed that she was accepted to the institution at the age of 14.
She claimed that the reason she received her degree early was because her mother had insisted that she finish school before pursuing her dream of becoming a teenage pop star.

In a recent interview, she revealed this to American media behemoth Billboard News.

Starr recalled:

“At fourteen, I enrolled in the university.” I feel like ever since I was a kid, my mother has been blackmailing me with music. “You have to do this if you want to do music,” she said. I didn’t want to move from Benin Republic to Lagos at first, but she persuaded me that it’s the city of music.
