At the age of 15, he launched his musical career with the song Sade, a rendition of the ONE DIRECTION song The Story of My Life.
Adekunle Gold developed a love and enthusiasm for music as a child while constantly listening to songs by King Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey.

Career
Since he began his musical career in 2010, Adekunle Gold has released three albums and numerous singles.
He started creating songs when he was 15 years old and eventually left the school group he started with a friend. He went on his own in 2014.
Following the expertly modified and public posting of a picture of him hugging Tiwa Savage, he gained notoriety as the “King of Photoshop” on social media.
Later, on December 19, 2014, he released Sade, his debut song, which he wrote and sang.
The Headies 2015’s Best Alternative Song nomination came despite the fact that it was a version of One Direction’s song The Story Of My Life. Amazingly, it became a hit.
On March 5, 2015, he joined the record company YBNL Nation, where he later released the song Orente.
He was nominated for the Most Promising Act of the YEAR award at the 2015 City People Entertainment Awards.
He revealed the album’s cover and tracklist on July 18, 2016, under the name Gold. The 16 songs on the album were composed by several different musicians, including Masterkraft, Seyikeyz, Oscar, Pheelz, and many more. Three days earlier than the real release date of July 25, 2016, it was made available.
Still received a lot of negative reviews from critics of modern music as a result, but still managed to reach position #7 on the Billboard World Album Chart for the week ending August 13, 2016. And this came after his departure from the record label, YBNL Nation, as a result of the label’s contract expiring.
But he persisted and eventually unveiled his band, The 79th Element, named for the element’s atomic number associated with gold on the periodic table.
On January 15, 2018, Adekunle Gold was revealed by Unity Bank as their Brand Ambassador. On August 21, 2020, he also published Afro Pop Vol. 1, another album.
Personal Life
Simi, a singer herself, and Adekunle Gold were wed in a posh ceremony in January 2019. To put it another way, they only invited close friends and family to the wedding. Later, it was learned that they had been dating for five years before to that.
In May 2020, they were blessed with the birth of a stunning baby girl named Adejare Kosoko Deja.
In 2016, he admitted that he paid 450 000 for his first automobile, a 1999 Honda (Baby Boy), from a friend who works as a car dealer, but that another friend later wrecked it.
He successfully fixed it and sold it for 400,000 Nigerian naira.
Unfortunately, allegations of infidelity have been connected to Adekunle Gold. On March 21, 2021, a well-known blogger named GistLover made the initial mention of this, but as events progressed, it became clear that Simi, his wife, was also aware of his infidelity.
He and his wife, however, said nothing about the allegations that were brought against him.
