Timi Frank, a former All Progressives Congress (APC) deputy national publicity secretary, has said that certain desperate politicians are making every effort to reverse Governor Ademola Adeleke’s victory at the Appeal Court.
In a statement released on Thursday, Frank urged the justices of the Supreme Court to uphold their moral character and thwart any attempt at subversion through enticement with reference to the Osun governorship dispute.

According to what information is now available, the fascist elements inside the ruling All Progressives Congress and opponents of democracy are determined to curtail democracy, he stated.

Frank disclosed that the fascist factions were prepared to employ all state machinery at their disposal to sustain chaos and undermine credibility, as demonstrated by the just ended repeat of the Adamawa governorship election.

However, the same people who have been acting without thinking about the repercussions have returned to undermine the credibility of the legal system by promising to use all legal means to overturn the Court of Appeal’s ruling about the Osun State Supreme Court’s ruling.

“We are forced to believe that, in fact, some recent Supreme Court rulings imply that particular compromises might have been reasonable given the resolution of legal disputes.”

Frank observed that many Nigerians’ aspirations were rapidly dwindling because they questioned the judiciary’s independence in administering justice.
