Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has forewarned Igbos about the impending nationwide demonstration against the federal government led by President Bola Tinubu in the midst of Nigeria’s current economic difficulties.
In response to the nation’s financial difficulties, Kanayo issued the warning in a widely circulated video that was posted on his official Instagram profile on Saturday night.
The actor forewarned that Ndigbo must join Davido in singing his unreleased song since Igbos are typically the target of everything in Nigeria.
Kanayo said that although the economic crisis is regrettable, Igbos in Nigeria cannot be trusted with protesting or with leadership positions.
Humanity lacks a religion. I’ve been trying to find shops where only Christians or Muslims purchase, but I’m having trouble.Look. I therefore want to exhort all Igbos to join in on Davido’s “I’m unavailable” song. In Nigeria, Ndigbo cannot be protested.
Although it is regrettable that we are all experiencing financial difficulties, the reality is that we are unavailable due to personal issues.
“We should take lessons from the past since we are constantly the target. Let’s exercise caution and make sure that those who have said that we cannot be trusted with leadership understand that we are equally untrustworthy when it comes to protest.that Igbo youths were forewarned of the planned nationwide demonstration by the leading Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, in a statement signed by its President General, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu.
