Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers, has been asked to join President-elect Bola Tinubu’s cabinet because Wike has a lot to offer Tinubu, according to David Umahi, the governor of Ebonyi state.
This declaration was made by Governor Umahi on March 27 during an address at an event Wike hosted in the Riverson LGA of Obio-Akpor. According to Umahi, it would be impossible to tell the tale of the 2023 general election without mentioning Wike.
We will be pleading with Asiwaju and Shettima to include Governor Wike in the main federal government administration. He is very valuable. He can do a lot to promote national unity. These days, it’s not only about the party; it’s about maintaining national unity, about how to advance this nation, and about bringing our people together. Gov. Umahi stated
Any politician who believes they can win in Rivers state without Wike, according to the governor, is joking. In Rivers state, Tinubu received 231,591 votes to defeat Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, who received 88,468 votes, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, who received 175,071 votes.
