The well-known American musician Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, received a 120-day house arrest sentence.
Petty was punished for posting videos on social media that seemed to threaten Cardi B’s husband, Offset, in violation of the terms of his probation.
Petty was mandated to conduct home monitoring in a court order submitted to the Central District of California on Wednesday. The order stated that Petty “was recorded making threatening remarks to a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record.”
Rapper Offset was specifically named in the sequence, and the videos are related to a slew of messages Petty sent to the rapper on September 16th that surfaced online.
Petty and a few members of his group are visible in the widely shared footage outside the hotel in New York City where Offset was allegedly staying.
“Plan that vacation, you’re gonna be planning your funeral pussy,” Petty threatens in his remarks.
Remember that Petty served four years in a New York jail after being found guilty in 1995 of first-degree attempted rape of a sixteen-year-old female.
He also received a three-year probationary term in July 2022 after entering a guilty plea to the charge of failing to register as a sex offender in the state of California in 2020.
