The National Business and Technical Education Board’s A’level scores will no longer be taken into consideration by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for applicants hoping to be admitted directly into postsecondary schools.
This was revealed at the 2022 policy meeting, which is now taking place at the International Conference Centre in Abuja, by JAMB registrar Professor Ishaq Oloyede.
The Honorable Minister of Education has given his approval for the NABTEB A’level GCE to be discontinued as a prerequisite for DE as of 2022. It will, however, be used by everyone who already has it before this date, according to Oloyede.
