The latest track from Nonso Amadi and Zinoleesky, “Lock Up,” has an official music video.
I composed the Afro-pop song “Lock Up” in 2018. One of my happiest songs to date, I believe. I met Zinoleesky’s manager at a song camp in the Benin Republic and handed her a CD of the song to listen to.
I may be seen dancing to Zinoleesky’s verse in the video a few months later. The real topic of the song is also much grimmer than most of my other songs.

Lock up is slang for “shut up” in Nigeria. Informing a girl that I like her and am ready to punish anyone who gets in the way of a relationship is consequently me being forceful.
Nonso Amadi and P.Priime produced the song “Lock Up,” which will appear on Nonso’s soon-to-be-released album “When It Blooms.”
Joe Penny oversaw the video’s direction for uaxstudio.

Quotable Lyrics;
Baby girl feel my melody
Dey make I dey think am gan
This kind love wey you give me
Abi na miracle ye pa
Her name na Miracle ye pa
Top of the pinnacle ye pa
Fine fine girl from the east side
Her name na Miracle ye pa
Abi na miracle ye pa
Top of the pinnacle ye pa
But tell your guy make e lock up o
Lock up o, lock up, lock up o
E no go nice if you fuck up o
Fuck up o, fuck up, fuck up o
So tell your guy make e lock up o
Lock up o, lock up, lock up o
E no go nice if you fuck up o
Fuck up o, fuck up, fuck up o
