Following the death of Tunji Ajakaye, a state resident, by unidentified gunmen, the Osun State Police Command has begun a manhunt.
According to information obtained by Alabareports, late Ajakaye, 38, was slain on Monday in the Ile Ayo axis in Ibokun, in the state’s Obokun Local Government Area.

The dead was shot in the chest by the attackers as he was walking home from work.

Along with his Toyota Camry, they drove off.

Ajakaye did not survive at the Wesley Guild Hospital in Ilesa, where he was pronounced dead despite attempts to resuscitate him.

Our correspondent was called by Osun Police Command spokesperson Yemisi Opalola, who verified the event.

She emphasized that a manhunt has been begun by the command to find the perpetrator.

“One of the neighbors who drove the deceased to the hospital on Tuesday reported the problem at ‘A’ Division in Ilesa,”

Says she.

She continued to have hope that the offenders would be caught.

“We are reassuring the public that the long arm of the law will catch up with them as soon as possible. Police have launched an intense manhunt for the suspects.”
