Nigeria will overcome its economic issues, according to Vice President Kashim Shettima, if everyone works together to create a clear and practical plan using short-, medium-, and long-term solutions.
Speaking during the 139th meeting of the council, Shettima expressed optimism that Nigeria will be able to overcome its current economic issues if everyone works together to build a clear and practical roadmap through short-, medium-, and long-term initiatives.
Shettima expressed sadness that Nigeria has become a victim of a strong resistance to change and adapting to the shifting global economic order, which has forced it to face the unavoidable need to make tough choices in order to realize its full potential.
“We have to either steer the economy in the direction of growth and competitiveness or prepare for an impact that we don’t think will happen.”
