The first-time Grammy nominee for the song “Feel” was unable to win in any of the three categories for which he was nominated, as all Nigerian nominees were eliminated.
In a recent Rolling Stone interview, Davido revealed that, despite his father’s passing, he still feels like a legend.
He declared:

“Merely receiving a nomination makes me feel good about myself. Initially, all I want is for my song to be played on the radio once or twice, but it’s incredible that it’s reached this level; it’s all God’s work.My father told me over the phone yesterday, “Son, you are still a legend no matter what happens.” So, yes, he is a huge admirer.
